The HSE (Health and Safety Executive) conducted an investigation after a Scottish man named Robin Williamson suffered live altering injuries.

I don't know about you, but whenever i see the husk of a blown out tyre at the side of a dual carriageway / motorway, it gives me the chills. The rubber fragments and skid marks weaving across the lanes is a firm reminder that tyre blowouts are common and extremely dangerous.

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure was fined $125,000 in 2020 after a 64-year-old worker died, however a coroner's inquest into the death of the man has been set for next month - November 8 to 10 at Burton Law Courts.

A building owner has been sentenced to 12 months in prison after an employee was left paralysed when a platform he was working from plummeted to the ground.

A roofing contractor has been fined after an employee fell from a ladder and died at the scene.

A worker of a carpentry and joinery company fell 11.5 feet from an unsecured stillage on the forks of a fork-lift truck in order to clean office windows at height. The company "Staircraft Group Limited" were fined on 14 June 2021 after an investigation by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) found the company failed to identify that using a stillage to lift someone on the forks of a forklift truck was unsafe.
